Our Story
Dawn Byers
Mono Mia
A dear friend and I started Mono Mia way back in 2002. Our passion was monogramming and personalization. At the time, we couldn’t find a local shop to get single items monogrammed in the traditional style. Our shop specializes in monogramming individual items because most items just look better when it has your special monogram on them!
Over the years we’ve changed, my dear friend moved with her family back east, and Mono Mia moved from a back room in our home to a quirky space in a building on Eastern Avenue. In 2014 Mono Mia moved to its current location in the Lyon Village shopping center on Fair Oaks Boulevard. We’ve added an array of unique gifts, but we still have our passion for monogramming. It’s all about finding the perfect gift or present for the occasion.
My background is in advertising, I’m trained to think outside the box. Our gifts may be popping out of a tote bag or wagon and they're always wrapped in our signature style! Our goal is to design that exceptional gift package that your friends or family will always remember.
